DLP3010: pattern sequences

Hi,

Does the DMD DLP3010 support the patter sequences function, like that of DLP4500? I want to project patterns one by one automatically, by setting the projection period and exposure time for each pattern.

    Yes, the DLP3010 can be used with the DLPC3478 controller to project patterns. Check out the DLP3010EVM-LC for a ready-to-use Evaluation Module using the DLP3010 DMD.

    Hi, Azad,

    I mean to create several images and save these images in the DLP system with DLP3010, and then to project these images one by one automatically with fixed period and exposure time. I did find out how to save and set the image pattern sequence in DLP3010 evm user manual. Is it in another document?

    Hi Sam

    Unlike the LightCrafter 4500, the DLP3010EVM-LC can only store 1D patterns internally, i.e patterns where the pattern data is same across the entire row or column of the DMD. To display 2D patterns, you will have to use external pattern mode. Please refer to section 8.3.1 of the DLPC3478 datasheet here: www.ti.com/.../dlpc3478.pdf
