DLPDLCR2000EVM: Control Individual Micro-mirrors?

I have successfully gotten the dlp2000 evm + beaglebone black combination to work. Now, I would like to be able to control the individual micro-mirrors of the DMD chip at a very low level if possible. I'm not super familiar with the technology but I'm guessing that each micro-mirror is voltage/current controlled and has an addressable location in the array, no? Could someone point me in a good direction?

steps I had done to play video,

installed Debian Image file and can communicate with beaglebone.org to run some commands like LED OFF or ON on beagle board. Able to login via putty and installed mplayer3.

and after inserting the dlp2000 onto beaglebone, even its not showing the default Image projection and can't able to connect to beagleboard.org.

please give me detailed step by step information to control the micro- mirrors.

Hello Dixith,

Have you been able to project any image from the Beaglebone yet? If not, see this getting started guide (e2e.ti.com/.../621466) and this user's manual (www.ti.com/.../dlpu049c.pdf). Let me know if you get stuck on a particular step.

After you have done that see e2e.ti.com/.../667207 for reference code on projecting specific images. By uploading specific images, you are in essence controlling the individual mirrors.

Hello,

I have gone through the first link(qiuck start) you suggested:
The beaglebone Black is getting boot up with the debian image when the DLP is not mounted over it.
Unfortunately, when we mount the DLP on BBB then it dosen't Boot up.
DLP is working when connected directly to power supply.

Let me know how can I proceed

Hello Dixith,

Can you please confirm that you are powering both the DLP2000 EVM and the Beagelbone? Also ensure one is not mounted backwards. Lastly when you say it isn't booting up when mounted - can you not connect directly to the Beaglebone at all over SSH?

Hello Kyle,

We were powering only to dlp with adapter and beaglebone is connted with the usb cable. will get one adapter soon and let you know how it goes.
