Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I use the LCR4500EVM and TIDA00254 for structured light 3D reconstruction

But error occurs when I open the cmd mode

like the picture shows. I found this problem has never been reported.

The camera in use is a Pointgrey BFLY-U3-50H5M-C and the drive has been installed. It works perfectly in flycapture SDK software.

Hi Yanchao,

Please note that DLP ALC SDK refers to specific PointGrey model, you can get it from SDK user's guide document, this is described here

For your camera model, this may require modifying ALC SDK.

This may be the reason. The camera I used is Bcakfly series camera.

So this SDK is too strict with the camera type. That's too bad.

Is there any other structured light SDK or open source program that works with this SDK?

I tried slstudio. It faild to communicate with LCR4500.

Windows 10. Is OS a problem in this application?

Hi Yanchao,

When DLP ALC SDK was developed it was used for specific camera model and PointGrey library version, there hasn't been any updates to this software since then, as it stands the only way debug would be build the SDK and investigate from the debug logs.

There is another simple option - but it will not use the high-speed camera trigger option, this one is via opencv camera interface, for this you can edit, the

DLP_LightCrafter_4500_3D_Scan_Application_Config.txt file

Modify default

#Camera type
# 0 - Uses OpenCV camera interface
# 1 - Native camera interface - PointGrey
CAMERA_TYPE = 1

#Camera type
# 0 - Uses OpenCV camera interface
# 1 - Native camera interface - PointGrey
CAMERA_TYPE = 0
