DLP3010: How to connect two DLP display into single MIPI DSI output from the host device?

I am working on a project that uses two DLP3010 displays. But the host device (Processor) has only one MIPI DSI output and we need to connect these two DLP displays to the single MIPI DSI interface by splitting them into two, that is, we need to split the single MIPI DSI output into dual MIPI DSI outputs as like the below image.

Can you suggest the better solution for this issue?

Hello Sajin,

I am unaware of any product that can split DSI. After a quick online search this company offers DSI IP but I am unsure if it has a complete product released. The two suggestions I could think of are:

Find a frontend with dual DSI output. I have heard of customers using front ends with this setup
If your frontend can output DSI and another video source, perhaps you could use a transceiver to convert the other source to DSI, thus achieving two DSI outputs.

Dear Kyle,

Thank you for your assistance, as from your reference I got to know FPGA is a better idea. But I didn't understand what you said about frontend. What is actually frontends?

Hello Sajin,

In this case a front end would be what you labeled as "host device". They are just two words for the same thing.

Thank you for your replay. The frontend device only has single MIPI DSI output and doesn't possess any other display interfaces.

It sounds like you may then need to look for a new frontend to do what you are requesting.
