Hello Max,
Could you please elaborate a little bit more on the failure mode?
Thanks,
Kyle
Hello Kyle,
Enclosed I describe the error in more detail.
Did any lights turn on when plugging in the 19V adapter?
No, only some LEDs did blink and then turned off
What happened when you flipped the switch?
Nothing, it died pretty fast
Did the EVM ever work? Or is this the first time you are using it?
It never worked, this was our first try
Can you confirm the 19V adapter is properly outputting 19V using a multimeter?
Yes.
Can you confirm you have the DLPDLCR3010EVM-G2 instead of Gen 1?
I dont know. Please look in the appendix.
Are there any visible damage marks?
Some pins were bended already when it arrived. I have a photo attached.
Thanks,
Max
Hello Kyle,
Yes we also tried to connect it to 5 V afterwards, but its definitely broken.
Therefore we would like to exchange the projector. We would like to return the DLP3010 gen 1. We need the DLP3010EVM-LC for our application.
Thanks,
Max
