DLP4500NIR: Wavelength Transmission before 700nm

Hello,

I am interested in purchasing the DLP4500NIR, which has the 96% transmission efficiency after 700nm. I want to use a wavelength at 680nm and one around 800nm, I wanted to know if this device would be able to transmit the 680nm, if not is there a better option.

Also, with this purchase I am going to purchase a DLPC350 Digital controller and DLPA2005ERSLT LED Control/Driver. I would like to know if this will be sufficient to run the device, and if to control the DMD I will need to use a particular software.

Can you elaborate on your use case. In particular, are you designing a board from scratch, or are you looking to use our complete NIRscan EVM?

Hi Cristianne,

Looking at the DLP4500NIR datasheet (section 6.11), I think you can get >90% efficiency at 680nm.

As for your second question, DLPA2005 is not supported on DLPC350. For more idea on which power supplies to use to produce different voltages required to drive the DMD/LEDs, kindly look at the LightCrafter4500 Reference Design schematic.
