DLP5500: DLP5500 - DLP7000: Usage without the controller

Hello

Analyzing the development boards associated with DLP5500 and DL7000, where the suggested controllers (respectively the DLPC200 and the DLPC410) are replaced by FPGA modules, I guess it is

possible to control the DMD without using such controllers. Can you confirm that?

 

If my guess is correct, how am I supposed to format input data to the DLP5500 and the DLP7000 ?
