DLPLCR4500EVM: vibration tolerance

Part Number: DLPLCR4500EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLP4500

Hello,

I need to know if any data is available about vibration tolerance of DLPLCR4500EVM. I could not find anything in the documentation about physical strength of the device.

Any help will be appreciated.

  • Hello,

We do not have this information available for our EVMs. Are you able to elaborate on your reason for needing this data so we may better be able to help?

    Thanks,
    Kyle
  • We are planning to use LightCrafter in a transportation vehicle(this is the most I am allowed to share) which will be vulnerable to vibrations. We have the LightCrafter but i don't want to damage the device so i can't run tests and also image quality under these conditions is another concern.

Any information you might have about DLP4500(www.ti.com/.../DLP4500) also can be useful.

    Thank you.

  • Hello,

The Lightcrafter 4500 is intended to be used as an evaluation module and is therefore not intended for use in end equipment applications. The actual TI ICs used go through various testing; however, it is up to the customer to qualify the final product for a given end equipment.

If you are looking to develop a product you may want to reach out to one of our optical module partners for assistance with the light engine : www.ti.com/.../buy-optical-engine.html

Please let me know if I can provide any additional information.

    Thanks,
    Kyle
