Hello TI Expert,

I have got a question about DLP4500A (new version) from our customer.

Would you please check and answer the question?

[Question]

It is written in the latest datasheet that Panasonic AXT580124 is used for a connector or DLP4500AFQE.

But our customer is hearing from Panasonic that this connector will be discontinued in September 2019.

Is AXT580124 still used in DLP4500A or any new connector is used?

If you have a plan to use a new connector, would you please tell us what connector is used and give any detailed information?

Hi Nobu,

I was personally unaware of Panasonic discontinuing this connector. Let me check and I will provide you an update before the end of this week.

I understand that you need to check the availability of Panasonic connector.

If you get any information, please let me know.

I will answer to the customer that DLP4500A also should use the same connector but TI need to check the Panasonic discontinuing.

So, I will ask them to wait for the answer by the end of this week.

I have confirmed from our team we plan to continue using the same connector (i.e. no plans to change it at this time).
