Hi,

I am currently working with the DLP2010EVM-LC:

While updating the splash Images in the Flash image, the GUI crashes. I noticed that there is a similar request in this forum (see: DLP2010EVM-LC: Cannot Update Flash Image in DLP Pico GUI) but I don't understand what the solution to the problem.

Could you please help me at that point.

    Welcome to the E2E forums, and thanks for your interest in our DLP technology. I'll forward your crash log to the appropriate party to take a look and provide feedback. In the meantime, I'd like to ask you for further details.

    First off, does the crash you are observing occur when writing any firmware image to your EVM, or does it only occur when writing an image with modified splash images? In addition, can you please share the splash images you are attempting to use with your system?

    Hi Philippe,

     thank you for the quick answer. The  crash only occurs when updating a firmware with new splash screens. (The button "Update Firmware" works well, "Update Flash Image" crashes.)

    I first tried to upload a single 8-bit Bitmap (test1.bmp) and later on a 24-bit Bitmap (test1_24.bmp). Both tests crash. The bitmaps are attached below.

    Hello Jean-Marc,

    We plan to release an updated GUI within the next couple weeks. As soon as it is released I will ask you to try again to see if it fixed the issue.
