DLP2000: DLP2000EVM power supply

I see that in the datasheet the the maximum output for the power supply is is 5-V DC, 3-A. How much of a problem will it be to use a 5V 4A one?

Welcome to the E2E forums, and thanks for your interest in our DLP technology. Which power supply are you looking to use with the DLP2000 in particular? Is this intended for use with the DLPDLCR2000EVM or have you designed an original board?

Hello Philippe,

I want to use STD-05040V 5V/4A supply from Adapter Tech for the DLPDLCR2000EVM.

5V/4A rating is good for this EVM. As such this adapter should work with your system. Let me know if you have any further questions or concern.
