CCS/DLPNIRNANOEVM: TIVA source code compilation

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to compile the Tiva Source Code from the NIRscan Nano, but I'm getting two errors:

Description Resource Path Location Type
#20 identifier "calibCoeffs" is undefined cmdDict.c /Mobile Spectroscopy TIVA EVM/App line 75 C/C++ Problem
#20 identifier "scanConfig" is undefined cmdDict.c /Mobile Spectroscopy TIVA EVM/App line 64 C/C++ Problem

I follow the steps from B and C section of the DLP NIRscan Nano EVM (Rev. G) but I can't build the project.

I'm using CCS V6.1 and the other versions of the build are shown below.

Hi Guillermo,

Could you try switching form CCS 6.1 to 6.0.1? Also please confirm you are using TI-RTOS 2.10.1.38 and TI ARM Compiler 5.2.4.

Hello!

I'm using TI-RTOS 2.10.1.38 and I've switched to CCS 6.0.1, but I coudn't find TI ARM Compiler 5.2.4 nowhere (I'm using 5.2.9 instead). I'm getting the same two errors.

The version of NIRscanNanoSoftware is 2.1.0 and the DLPSpectrumLibrary is 2.0.3.

Ok, I've found how to dowload TI ARM Compiler 5.2.4, but I get the same two errors.

Could you kindly let us know your OS version? Kindly Also try using CCS v8.1.0 for building.

I'm using Windows 10 Home x64. With the v8.1.0 I get the same error.

Hi Guillermo,

Have you added the dlpspeclib as a dependency to the MOBILE SPECTROSCOPY TIVA EVM? Kindly double check that dlpspeclib,usblib and driverlib are all added as dependency to the MOBILE SPECTROSCOPY TIVA EVM project.

Hi,

Yes, I added all the dependencies. I followed all the steps shown in the DLP® NIRscan™ Nano EVM User's Guide (Rev. G). I tried also in a Windows 7 OS.

Hi Guillermo,

This is odd behavior because we re verified the steps and they seem to be working. Can you kindly provide full specs of the PC? Also how many PCs did you try on? Did you follow the exact steps as NIRScan Nano User Guide on every case? Do you get the same error in all of the PCs?
