DLPDLCR2000EVM: project pc over usb to i2c dongle

Dear all!

I have a DLPDLCR2000EVM, that I originally wanted to use with the beagleboard to run psychopy , however for some reason I cannot make that work.

My next idea is to mirror my pc screen to the projector using a usbto i2c convert (

Unfortunately I dont seem to be able to find out how to make that work, Does anybody have any ideas or walkthroughs, please?

Hello Gegely,

Unfortunately I do not think it will be possible to send video over I2C to the DLPDLCR2000EVM. The controller is not intended to receive video over the I2C bus. Additionally, I do not think this bus will be fast enough for video.

Instead you will need a front end capable of inputting the required parallel video. Alternatively the Beagle Bone Black is intended to be used with this EVM. The Raspberry Pi has also been used by some users.
