HI...

I am using DMD2000 and DLPC2607 for my post graduation project. [I am not using Lightcrafter EVM]

I want to know that does DLPC2607 needs to be programmed?

    The DLPC2607 has a standard firmware release. You cannot modify this firmware outside of requesting revised firmware with custom looks/duty cycle configurations. What are you trying to do with the DLPC2607?

    Sir,
    I want make prototype for wearable glasses as a part of my post graduation project. So I just wanted to confirm few things before.
    As I am not using light crafter EVM, I am using it's design files for altered version.
    So, thing is I just have to program or write software for my host processor (I am using Raspberry Pi ), and DLPC will be provided with it's firmware. Is it correct?

    Trupti,

    That is partially correct. For the firmware, you can either grab it off of the flash on the EVM itself or request a flash image from us via private message. The firmware is already created, but you will need to write the image to a part yourself.
