DLP4710EVM-LC: FPC cable Connection between DLPC3439 and DLP4710

I have got a quesiton about the connection of DLP4710 and two DLPC3439s.

Since my cusomer is considering to make their own DLP prototypes, we would like to check the connection about J22 connector of DLP4710EVM-LC.

There are 2 sets of 4 control pins on the J22 connector.

EXT_M_SPI_CLK, EXT_M_SPI_DOUT, EXT_M_SPI_DIN, EXT_M_SPI_CSZ (32-35pin)

EXT_S_SPI_CLK, EXT_S_SPI_DOUT, EXT_S_SPI_DIN, EXT_S_SPI_CSZ (76-80pin)

Would you please tell us what is the purpose of these signals?

If these signals are not needed for them, they want to remove these signals to reduce pins.

Please tell us whether these signals are needed or not.
