DLPNIRNANOEVM: GUI display error

I downloaded the DLP NIRScan Nano GUI (v2.1.0) and it is not displaying correctly on my screen (see below). The current resolution is 3360 x 2100, and I'm operating on Windows 10 OS. I have read a similar post from TL52 where the following is recommended:

"Did you try logging out from Windows and log back in. If you go to Windows 10 display settings, is it showing a message "Some apps may not scale"
Please also check
support.microsoft.com/.../windows-scaling-issues-for-high-dpi-devices"

I have tried this to no avail. Is this a common problem with a known solution?

Hello Andy,

Could you try decreasing your display resolution via Windows settings to see if the problem remains?

Hello Andy,

What resolution did you set Windows to display? Could you upload a screenshot of what the change looked like? Alternatively maybe you could try another monitor to see if we can eliminate the resolution question from the problem.

Hi Andy,

Did you try rescanning the data? The 2560x1600 looks like it should be rendering properly. I think the GUI was probably only intended for 1920x1080 resolution though.

Hi Kyle,

I did try rescanning the data and it's still not rendering properly, even at the 1920x1080 resolution. Notice that many of the words and features are not visible within the interface. Attached is an interface picture and a scan picture at 1920x1080 resolution.

Any other thoughts?

Hi Andy,

Kindly try these steps and see if the rendering can be improved:

On desktop, right click and go to "display settings". Select your current display and try decreasing the "Scale & Layout" percentage. This may improve the rendering of the application on your screen.

I figured out the problem. I am running Windows 10 on Parallels VM. By default, the Parallels graphics settings have the display set to "Best for Retina display". This option needs to be switched to "Best for external displays" for the GUI to operate properly. Thanks for your help - I'm glad to finally get to the bottom of this!
