What percentage of overfill should I consider while designing illumination optics?

TI recommends 10% OVERFILL in the documentation but in 0.45'' WXGA optical reference design 24% overfill is considered, any there any specific reasons like manufacturability?

Hi Tanmay,

Kindly note that overfill is a trade-off between efficiency and mechanical tolerance. Having a larger overfill allows greater mechanical tolerance. If you are not sure what your overfill should be, you can use 15% overfill as a starting point.
