I buyed DPLC350 from TI and made a simplified LightCrafter 4500 board, but it has the following problems:

D4 LED doesn't turn on.
D7 LED under the board lights red for a while and then green and stays that way.
I tried to connect through JTAG at J25 with UM232H, it said "NO DEVICE" no matter a jumper or no jumper installed at J30 or J18, as below:

I made sure that the connection between UM232H to the connector is same as DLPU017B. What is the problem it should be?

Could you please provide more details - You designed and built a board or modified TI EVM? If you modified TI EVM then which EVM.

Hi Vivek,

I made the LightCrafter 4500 board acording to tidc086a.zip, and soldered the main part of the schematic of DLP4500-C350REF.brd due to I hope to project patterns just from flash.

Now, after powered on, LED D7 is green, and LED 4 is not lighted. I can not connect DLPC350 with USB and I2C, even JTAG.

I am thinking if my new UM232H has a problem.

What is the problem it should be?

Hi Vivek,

I found the problems:

1. The driver for UM232H was not installed, so it not worked right.

2. I do not need J24(MULTI-ICE JTAG I/F), so I delete the resistors of R104 to R109, that made The J25 not work.
