DLPNIRNANOEVM: Device not responding

We have procured 4 NANOEVM, out of which one device is giving trouble in scan or going to bluetooth mode.

Issues: 

1. Base of EVM heats (~60 degree C), which is not observed in other 3 EVMs

2. When I try to put it in ble mode, by pressing the ble button for 5 sec, nothing happens, and if that button is pressed again, it shows ble error on UI with blue LED blinking fast.

3. If I trigger scan from UI, it gives an error.

4. I tried to reflash the TIVA firmware from UI, but that is stuck at 10%

I feel there is some hardware issue with this particular EVM. Kindly suggest the steps to verify issue or any ways to rectify the same.

    Hi Shreyans,

    Welcome to DLP forum and thank you for your interest in DLP technology.

    I am sorry that you have having a problem with one unit. It is very likely a hardware issue especially unit is getting very hot.

    The best and fastest way to test if this an hardware issue would be swap the board with working unit and see if problem follows the board. Please keep track of board association with EVM because it has calibration data for that optical unit. 

    If the unit is faulty please contact source of your purchase for RMA.

    I tested it and it looks like a board problem. I am taking this issue to the purchase source.
