Hi there,

Our Customer bought DLPLCR4500EVM.

But it doesn’t look too good. It’s colors went much more RED or PURPLE than normal DLPLCR4500EVM.

It also even turns on, Startup Logo “DLP LightCrafter 4500” is also turned RED and PURPLE.

He knew something wrong with it.

Cause he has another Two of these exactly same products. So This is his third(Latest) one. And also he put same program for other two of those as well and Those work perfect.

He tested with same cables, though.

So in this case RGB is broken or needs to be recalibrated, isn’t it?

If anyone knows how to fix this issue please let me know.

No I deleted Original thread. Cause I didn't know how to edit by that time now I know.

So Please respond this thread, Sorry!

Problem is they are not a dime a dozen type customer. They have influence to scientist and engineers.( I Can't tell for privacy)

The issue should been taking care long ago.

But still So they are very frustrated. That's not good for both of us.

Hello Takashi,

Sorry, I didn't notice the original thread was deleted. Could you have the customer take individual pictures of an all red image, all green image, and all blue image? This will let us determine if perhaps one of the LEDs has an issue. Perhaps this can help us find out if the root cause is fixable.

Here is 11PM in Japan right now. And It's too late to call the customers.

So I will get back to the office around 9 AM and as soon as I get that information.

I try to get those images from the customer (Actually sales team).

But that projector brought back to the company who sell to them and now impossible to get them from.

Things are getting so complicated now. Maybe they are really pissed off.

I don't know why they didn't ask for the images at first place.

Anyway I hope customer will takin care, though.

Hi Takashi,

Sorry about the complicated situation, you can suggest the user to play with the LED Currents to see if he can improve the image hue. Unfortunately we need to see the pictures on screen for further support.
