I'm not entirely sure I'm on the right track. However, I'm working with Kyle Rakos Structured_light code. What I'm seeing is this. When I run the software the Linux desktop is intermittently loading up between frames I load onto the DMD. The slower I run the software the more likely the desktop forces its way in.
Am I off base thinking between the time I unfreeze the buffer and the next time the software freezes the update buffer the desktop has pushed its own frame onto the buffer? Is there a way to disable the desktop output, so that the buffer only loads what I provide it?
I do not need the desktop at all.
