DLP2000: Confirm if the 2 Panasonic connectors are included in the DMD

Hi Team,

Our customer would like to confirm if the 2 Panasonic connectors (PANASONIC AXT642124DD1 and PANASONIC AXT542124DD1) already part of the DLP2000AFQC device if the customer buys this device or they need to buy it separately?

The customer found this in the footprint information on page 34 of the datasheet.

Hello Jonathan,

I believe the AXT642124DD1 is attached to the DMD but the AXT542124DD1 is required to be purchased by the customer to interface the assembly to their flex cable. We will look into this to confirm.

I am only thinking that AXT542124DD1 will need to be bought by the customer separately but knowing your confirmation will help us to confirm this part.

Are you buying an optical engine ready-made or making your own optical engine from scratch?

Jonathan,

Kyle's original statement above is correct. The ATX5 is separate and must be purchased and used to interface with the DLP2000 DMD. The ATX6 is pre-attached to the DLP2000 DMD when purchased. You can verify which is which with the PDF below:
