DLPC350: An error occurred using GUI when sending the combination of bit depth pattern to the dmd on pattern sequence mode

Hi,

I am using the LightCrafter 4500 in order to send pattern sequence to the dmd. I have 9 24-bit images loaded on flash memory. I created the solution of 24 combination of bith depth for each of 9 images.I used to work perfectly. However, recently when I apply the solution, and then try to send it, the lightcrafter shows an error that it's stopped working that I need to close the program.

I was wondering whether you have ideas about how to solve this problem.

Could you please share a screenshot of the error message? Cold you please also let us know the version of the operating system, GUI, and EVM firmware?

Hi again,

We use windows 7 and GUI version 3.

EVM that we use is DLP lighctrafter 4500 driver board including dlpc350 dmd.

To add something: the GUI stops working when adding more than 6 24-bit images.

Hi Sarah,

We could reproduce the problem on our side. We find that when number of patterns in a sequence is greater than 170 then this problem is occurs. We will attempt to fix it in the next maintenance release. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. You can still use any external program/microcontroller to send pattern sequences having more than 170 patterns.
