DLPDLCR2000EVM: Integration errors with the Beagelbone Black Wireless

I am trying to connect this EVM to a BeagleBone Black Wireless controller.  I cannot get the DLP2000 to power on.  Is this compatible with the black wireless?  I see the Beagle Bone Black works online, but nothing mentioning the wireless version.
