DLPNIRNANOEVM: Is there a newer version of the NIRSscan Nano EVM?

Hi everyone, 

We're considering purchasing a NIRscan Nano EVM for our lab. From what I understand the spectrometer was released in back 2014 which makes it roughly 6 years old. I'm wondering if TI has any plans to release a newer version sometime this year?

    Hello Matt,

    Welcome to DLP forum and thank you for your interest in DLP technology. We periodically upgrade the firmware and GUI for DLP NIRScan Nano EVM. The hardware has not changed since introduction.

    I would also like to mention that DLP NIRScan is an evaluation module. The purpose of the EVM is to enable our customer do product development  on DLP technology and it is not intended for final production.

    If your need is for a product then I would recommend connecting our ecosystem partner Innospectra  to purchase a spectrometer based on DLP technology.
