Dear All

we have bought the DLPLCRC410EVM board 3 weeks ago.

so I want to Download bit file in Virtex-5 (LX50).with ISE 13.x

But the status is in a state of  Program Fail.  

I have used Platform USB II of Download Cable (LED color green) . 

Please let me know that how to set dip switch or jumper , and so on...

    Hello Richard,

    Please backup the *.mcs PROM file for the APPS_FPGA to your PC before you do any programming (even a *.bit file - just in case).

    Generally this is a communication setup issue in the Impact tool.  There is nothing on the DLPC410 controller EVM board that should need changing.  Please check the settings there to make sure that the USB platform cable is selected there.  Then plug in the JTAG cable and do a boundary scan.  It should shows the LX50 and its associated prom in the chain.

    If not then when you plug in the Xilinx Platform cable, what shows up in Windows device manager?
