Hello,

I am trying to access the DLPC3433 from archlinux via command line. I get repeated messages similar to the one below:

[250733.928048] i2c i2c-0: mv64xxx: I2C bus locked, block: 1, time_left: 0

I have pulled the proj_on HIGH, and still no success. Please advise ASAP

Hi Chris,

You are using DLP chipset DLPC3433 + DLP3010 + DLPA3000.

We have reference design for this combination http://www.ti.com/tool/DLPDLCR3010EVM-G2.

Did you create your own design board based on our EVM design OR you are using directly our EVM hardware for your evaluation or development.

Also which DLP firmware version are you using?

Are you able to communicate over I2C if you are using our DLPLCRD-GUI supported on Windows OS?

Ok, to my own shame, I was using the wrong I2C bus! It is a custom board. I should have been using i2cdetect 1 and NOT i2cdetect 0.
