DLPLCR4500EVM: p1 dmd fpc-h v1.1 cable which is a band plug with copper encrusted error

It could a loose connection or bent pin. Could you please point us to the which connector in figure 1.7 and figure 1.8  (page 15) of EVM user guide?

I think the problem is from the cable in the picture. As I said, this cable was dislodged. Then I put it back in place and encountered this problem.

I plugged in the socket( DMD flex cable ) well. But the problem has not been solved. It gives the same problem in HDMI mode.

As if the problem can only be solved by you, Is there a possibility that the problem is mechanical?

Hi Onur, there may be a physical damage in the Flex Cable/ cable connectors/ socket on the light engine/board. If you have another unit of working LCR4500, could you kindly try fixing this Light Engine on that unit and see if that works okay?

I don't have another LCR4500, I think I suspect a physical problem. Because, When I touch the socket part of the flex cable with my hand, the led turns red and LCR4500 reset

Did you receive the EVM in this faulty state or the damage was observe only after you disconnected/reconnected the flex connector?

Hi Hirak,

I had no problems for 1 week when the product arrived. Dmd moved 0.5 degrees( The screw connection was not healthy) and the flexible connector was disconnected. I encountered this problem when I plug the flexible cable back in. Also, when I apply light pressure to make sure I plug in the flexible connector the led turns red and LCR4500 reset
