DLP4710EVM-LC: Power on Sequence doesn't result in turned on Light Control EVM

Hello,

We already had succesfull start ups and were able to display internal and splash patterns. But now we have trouble turning on the EVM.

Following the Quick-Start Procedure we have the External power Supply connected as befor. Moving the SW28 to the ON positin turns on LED D43 and D57 as they should.

But when pushing SW21 the LED D57 turns off, the LED D56 (RESETZ) flashes. After around 1 second the D56 flashes again and the D57 turns back on. D43 remains on all the time.

We can't use the GUI to read any error or update the firmware, because the EVM doesn't turn on.

Is there a way to figure out the problem?

    Hi Lennart,

    You can try updating the firmware without making proj_on high.

    Turn on power supply and do not turn on the Proj_On switch, check now you should be able to upload the firmware using GUI in this Proj_On low state. Once firmware upload completes then turn on the Proj_on switch.
