DLPC3479: Request for additional function, the trim masks in internal pattern mode.

Hello TI experts,

I want to trim 4side of the pattern image like attached picture in internal pattern mode.

Trim A and B can be achieved by editing the pattern image, but trim C & D is not.

Pleasee give us any solution, thank you.

    Hi User,

    The requirement you are interested in is similar to the cropping feature.

    Unfortunately, image cropping function is not supported for any of the Light Control modes (Internal pattern display, external pattern display, splash pattern display) of DLPC347x DLP chipsets.

    As you pointed out, for vertical internal pattern display you can achieve image trimming of type A and B but not of type C and D.

    Similarly, for horizontal internal pattern display, you can achieve image trimming of type C and D but not of type A and B.
