DLPLCR4500EVM: Regarding the specifications of the DMD array

Hi,

I would like to know if the individual pixels of the DMD array are covered with some sort of RGB spectral filters or they are just aluminium mirrors and the spectral filtering is performed via the Fly Eye Lens (or some other mechanism).

Hi Alex,

The DMD mirror array contain micro-mirrors with an aluminum surface. The spectral filtering will be performed with the illumination optics which come in the optical engine used. In the case of the DLPLCR4500EVM, the optical engine used is the iView DLP4500 light engine.
