Dear Sir\Miss

I hold DLPDLCR2000EVM which i connected to BeagleBone and it works great

My questions are regarding the Focus switch.

Is there any way to control focus digitally? is the manual switch is the only option? 

Do we have the option to set this switch to constant state (lock it) ? it moves when i move the EVM

    Hi Asher, 

    Welcome to TI E2E Forums! Unfortunately we don't have a mechanism to focus the optics digitally. The manual switch works as the focus key. We will get back to you on the switch lock query shortly.

    There is an FAQ thread about the mechanical focus lever here:

    Note that the focus lever is mechanical only. When integrated into a typical system solution, customers can attach a motor to this lever for digital focus control. When used with the DLPDLCR2000EVM, it is recommended to install the provided washer (as per the thread above) to fix the lever and prevent it from wiggling when the system is handled.

    The washer part referenced above is included in a separate parts bag in the DLPDLCR2000EVM kit. I hope this helps.
