DLP4710EVM-LC: Working of Trigger in mode

Part Number: DLP4710EVM-LC

Hello TI Expert,

I have got a question about the working of DLP4710EVM-LC from our customer.

Would you please check the phenomenon and give any comment?

[Phenomenon]

If they enable the Trigger In mode and press the Run Continuously button in GUI, it should be the status waiting for the input trigger signal.

Then, if they input the trigger signal, only the first one pattern of the 4 patterns is displayed and nothing is displayed after that.

We thought that the pattern sequence should start and the pattern sequence should be repeated if the trigger signal is input.

[Question]

Is this a correct working? And our understanding is not correct?

I would like to confirm the specification of trigger in mode.

If the trigger signal inputs, which working is correct?

  1. Only one pattern is exposure
  2. Pattern sequence starts

It would be helpful if you can give us any comment.

Best Regards,

Nobu Arai
