Hi,
I have the product DLPLCR4500EVM. Because I need to use my own light source and lenses for my application, I need to remove the DMD from the box of DLPLCR4500EVM and use it independently.
The DMD removal process is mainly based on e2e.ti.com/.../278008 suggested by customer service.
After I remove the DMD, I see the pin on the back of it as well as the pins on the cable. To have my own inputs and the lenses, I can't use the black box that comes with DLPLCR4500EVM. However, it seems like the connection between the cable and DMD is not stable without extra force on it.
I'm wondering how to connect the cable and DMD in a stable way for this case. Should use a piece of glass to press the DMD against the pins on the cable? It would be helpful if you can give me some suggestions on how to connect them.
The figures for the back of DMD and the pins on the cable are attached.
