Hello TI DLP Experts,

I have got a question from our customer. Would you please check the following question and give any comment?

Regarding the thermistor mounted on the DLP4710EVM-LC, it seems that the user can get the temperature by the command to the DLPC3479.

Is the calculation of temperature compensation done by the DLPC3479 internally?

They want to know whether non-linear correction is done or not.

It would be helpful if you can tell us how to output the temperature data to the user.

Nobu-san,

You can use "Read System Temperature (D6h)" command to get the data in °C. The command interface will be available in the Advance mode of the GUI, under System page.

Hello Mayank-san,

Thank you for the answer.

I understand that the calculation of temperature to C degree is done by DLPC3479 firmware and the user can get the data in C by the D6h command. I will ask the customer to see the “3.7.7 Read System Temperature (D6h)” of programmer’s guide.
