The dlp3010 in our product has been connected to ubuntu, so the firmware cannot be upgraded through GUI, but the api you provided only updated the internal pattern, I don’t know if you mind providing the code to update the firmware directly.

There is an update for the DLPC-API (v1.7) scheduled to release which features firmware download code in Python. I'll notify you when the same is available.
