DLPC3478: Specific Firmware

Hi,

In our application, we use only one LED. In a previous post, it was about the possibility of providing a specific firmware for this application.

We plan to use the PWR6 buck converter to generate a 5V. Does this installation also require specific firmware?

How should we proceed?
Is there a specific person to contact?

The DLP chip used are : DLPC3478, DLPA3000 and DLP3010LC

I will have to look into this for you. Can you speak on what this converter will be powering? Will this be the same project with the disabled LED?

Yoann,

PWR6 (aka the GP2 Buck Converter) is configured via register 0x14 on the DLPA3000 PMIC. To talk to this register, you can use the External PAD Read/Write Commands, which are documented in the DLPC Programmer's Guide.

Hi,

Yes it's for the same project with the disabled LED feature.
We plan to use the converter to drive a fan.

Hi,

On the GP2 buck converter, I'm not sure I understand everything.

It is good for configuration via register 0x14 of the DLPA3000. But we can't communicate with the DLPA, we only communicate with DLPC3478.
On the DLPC programmer's guide, I can't find the "External PAD Read/Write Commands".

For the use of only one LED, it is possible to make a specific firmware?
