Hello, I am Soocheol Kim.

I purchased DLP7000 DMD evaluation board, and I am controlling the DLP using the DLP Discovery 4100 Explorer GUI.

For the GUI software, the frame rate is limited.

I would like to know if there is another software program that can run at high frame rate of tens of kHz, or if there is any source code that can run it with MATLAB program.

    Hello Soocheol,

    The EVM GUI connects over USB 1.1 and is not capable of the kind o speeds that you want directly over USB.  This is a USB bandwidth limitation.

    For the speeds you want, you will either have to build a high speed interface through the EXP connectors that connect to the APPS_FPGA (Virtex 5 - LX50) or write code in the APPS_FPGA and a memory controller to use the memory slot on the EVM.

    You can also contact ViALUX as they have their own proprietary system that can already load many images into memory over USB and then run them very fast.
