Hello Team,

My Customer is using a Lightcrafter 4500 and wants to use it in Pattern mode, so using 912x1440 pixel resolution, on Linux (Ubuntu 18.04). Unfortunately, they can not really use the Lightcrafter with their own simulation software, and not sure why. What they wanted to try is making an EDID file for this resolution, for which I would need the exact timings for HSYNC and VSYNC.

Can you help us with that?

Requirements for input video timings are included in the DLPC350 datasheet in section 6.11 (https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/dlpc350.pdf).

From there, you can use any preferred method to calculate video timings. For example, you can use a video timings calculator like this one: https://tomverbeure.github.io/video_timings_calculator

You will need software to generate the EDID file. There are a number of these available on the web.
