Hi TI,

I'm using a spectrum digital(Tms320c5515) with my ads1298 daughter board.

It is mentioned in the User guide that these levels are available.

Where in the Users guide are these levels set? Also why is one level preferred over the other?

Where in your default code is the level of 2.5, 2.75 or 3.3v configured?

Also there is a line level encoder chip. What is that for?

Also what is the SH(SH5) used for ?

Hi,

The C5000 Medical Development Kits have been discontinued since 2014. Support is limited. http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/C5000_Medical_Development_Kits

Which Users guide are you referring to (about the the levels)? Are you referring to the voltage levels of 2.5V, 2.75V, or 3.3V? Usually those are configured with DIP switches on the EVM that control the power supply IC.

Are the line level encoder chip and the SH(SH5) questions specific to the ADS1298 AFE board?

These parametric values are measured at DVDDIO = 3.3 V, 2.75 V, and 2.5 V

What are these voltages (2.5,2.75, 3.3v) based on ?

How are these levels set?

And how to set a GPIO from a software point of view?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay.

These appear to be the valid IO voltages for the C55xx device.

On the C55x5 EVM, there is a DIP switch that controls the power management IC inputs to select the IO voltages and CORE voltages.
