Hello

I'm about to start my electronic degree project and I have been looking over the idea of this the DLP2010 a few times but never had the time to play with it.

With that said my project idea would be to create a DPL2010 driver and display card to output simple text and graphics using a microcontroller like the Atmega 328 via bluetooth , think of it as a open source Google glass that your average Joe can enjoy :).

The main reason for this post is to get some advice and even double checking of the driving of the DLP2010.

Below I have quickly created a simple block diagram of the system I could use to drive the DLP2010:

I think you will have more luck for this question there, as that forum specializes in video and data displays.

Ben,

Make sure SSD1960 LCD driver RGB 24bit o/p is able to generate the video timing 854x480 resolution as specified in < www.ti.com/.../dlpc3430.pdf > 6.11 Parallel Interface Frame Timing Requirements and 6.12 Parallel Interface General Timing Requirements sections
