PC enumerate DSP6678

Hi!

I am using a custom board connected to a PC host whose operation system is windows XP. The DSP is set as End-point mode. Our purpose is that the host can enumerate the devices once powed on. But DSP can't be enumerated.

I've set LTSSM_EN=1 and monitor LTSSM_STATE field in DEBUG0 register. The value of LTSSM_STATE is 0x02, which means POLL_ACTIVE.

I wonder if anyone could give me some advice.

In my board, the PLL is locked, for the value of PCIE_SERDES_CFGPLL(0x02620358) is 0x000001C9.

Could you provide more information about the state of POLL_ACTIVE?

Hi Rajasekaran,

They are not the same.My question is that the LTSSM_EN is 1 and the link state of DEBUG0 is 0x02.

While the thread you provide is that the LTSSM_EN is 0.

So I wonder if you could help me figure out why the PC couldn't enumerate DSP since LTSSM_EN is 1 and the PLL has been locked.

Have you test the same setup on another PC? Still you are facing the same issue, Please provide your host PC configuration details.

Hi Ganapathi,

I tried other two PC,and none of them can enumerate the same board. The value of LTSSM_EN is 1, and the lock of PLL is locked, but the board cannot be enumerated by the PC.

What kind of configuration about my PC do you want to know?

And I teseted whant Eric tells me, but it dose not work.

Hope you could give me some suggestion as soon as possible.

Hi Aichen,

I am not able to reproduce the similar issue. I think it is related to hardware issue of your custom board. Please share your schematic, i will check with my hardware design team and get back to you.
