Hi,
My customer has a question about the amount of allowed pressure to package top of C6678/K2H.
Let's assume the use case for 20 years @ 100*C.
For example, in case of C6678, 271.1psi is allowed pressure to the package top, right ?
Please take a look at http://www.tij.co.jp/jp/lit/an/sprabi2c/sprabi2c.pdf
9.5 Mechanical Compression
Now converting 271.1psi to N...:
- 271.1psi = 271.1 * 6.895/1000 (MPa) = 1.8692345 (MPa) = 1.8692345 (N/mm^2) ... (A)
- And package size = 24 (mm) x 24 (mm) = 576 (mm^2) ... (B)
So (A) x (B) could be allowed amount of pressure to package top:
1.8692345 (N/mm^2) x 576 (mm^2) ≒ 1077 (N)
My customer is saying this number should be too big and they must have some misunderstandings about this.
Could you please clarify their understanding is correct ?
Best Regards,
Naoki
