I'd like to check C6678EVM TSIP I/F.
So, can I use CI2EVMBOC for checking the TSIP?

Hi,

I found the datasheet of CI2EVMBOC here:
www.mouser.com/.../texas instruments_lc_dual_evm_boc_r0p4.pdf, it doesn't have any TSIP interface. So I don't think you can use it.

In the past we used the MicroTCA AMC chassis blu-eco-elma for TSIP testing, it provides an external TSIP clock to TI 6678 EVM. You may check with them which chassis works with TI 6678 EVM:

Thank you for your information.

However, can I ask you to check the AMC connector pin assignment for both of C6678EVM and CI2EVMBOC?
I think that TSIP Clocks are assigned on the connector.

Hi,

I checked with our HW engineer for this: looking at the block diagram on page 6 of the CI2EVMBOC, you see that there is nothing for TSIP. The BluEco box with the custom backplane and the available TDM cards could be used to break put the TDM data. The only integrated solution is the customized BluEco.

Hi Eric,

Thank you for your information. I understood that there is no way to evaluate the TSIP on C6678EVM w/o purchasing the expensive equipments like the BlueEco.
However, if there is any test mode in which CLKs and FSs are genareted for the TSIP internally, please let me know.
