I know TPS65911A is suitable for 66AK2G12/1GHz from swcu187a.pdf.

Is there release plan of TI Design/Reference Design/EVM for TPS65911A + 66AK2G12/1GHz? If so, could you please let me know when will be available it?

Hi,

No, there isn't a reference design with TPS65911A. I don't have the plans fro future releases.

Refer to 66AK2G02 EVM: www.ti.com/.../sprr302.pdf . It uses the TPS659118 as a PMIC.

Hi Okayama,
There is no physical design difference between the TPS659118 and the TPS65911A. So the board design on the existing K2G EVM is compatible with the 66AK2G12 + TPS65911A by simply changing the parts on your BOM. The PDN did not need any changes either. Only change is the default 1.0V core voltage to support the 66AK2G12 1GHz default boot frequency. The EVMK2G has been updated to Rev D where the processor and PMIC are changed to the latest part numbers.

Thank you very much for your detail explanation. I can understand very well, My customer can start to develop their PCB of 66AK2G12 + TPS65911A with current K2G EVM + TPS659118 as reference.
