PMIC voltage scaling with frequency change

Guru 20755 points

Hello,

We are using PMIC TPS659113, with DM814x, PSP 4.1.0.2.

I would like to ask how I can verify that the PMIC changes voltage in accordance with frequency,

Do I need to enable anything in linux configuration file for this to work ?

Is there some method for validation of PMIC on this issue (validate that the software do optimization on the core voltages, in accordance with the core frequencies, in order to save power ?)

?

Thanks,

Ran

As you use the same PMIC as in the DM814x TI EVM (TPS659113), it should work fine with the TI PSP. Just note that the latest PSP version is recommended to be used, which is PSP 04.04.00.02.
