How to build the rootfs provided in EZSDK DM816x?

Hi guys,

After installed EZSDK DM816x 5.04.00.11, I can rebuild all TI provided binary by "make all". However, the document doesn't provide instruction to build the rootfs from source ("filesystem/ezsdk-dm816x-evm-rootfs.tar.gz"). Can anyone provide some suggestions? Or does TI expect OEM to build their own rootfs by using something like openembedded?

Thanks, Brett Kuehner, that's a great tutorial.

Bernard Chow, arago fs repositories at http://arago-project.org/git/ refer to the base EZSDK filesystem. Generally DM814x/DM816x video applications need just a rebuild of "component-sources" and replace in the snapshot provided with ezsdk-dm816x-evm-rootfs.tar.gz. That's why base fs sources are not in the EZSDK.
