What does the HDMI_MODE field of HDMI_CTRL register do? It is a single bit that gets set to 1 for HDMI and 0 for DVI but what does this actually do to the video output of the DM8168?
Thanks,
Ralph

DVI is a sub-set of HDMI that does not include audio, info-frames and only supports RGB.
Setting this control to DVI mode disables all HDMI features from the TMDS stream.
