We are doing the color space calibration of DM8168's HDMI output..
When our DM8168 platform received a color pattern, the RGB value is from 0 to 255.
After H.264 decoding, the RGB value remains the same (0 ~ 255).
- But the RGB value of the image captured from HDMI output is 0~235. (0x46c00524= 0x00)
We want to change the color space to YCbCr, and the RGB value is supposed to be 16~235.
- We changed the value of register 0x46c00524 to 0x18 or 0x08, and the RGB value would be 16~235.
- when 0x46c00524= 0x0a or 0x0a or 0x12 or 0x1a, the RGB value would be 16~217
We don't know the difference among these settings.
