Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB7340
Hi,
We are planning to use TUSB7340 PCIe x1 gen2 to USB3.0 bridge with DM8168.
Please let us know if we can use this device with DM 8168.
In technical ref manual it has been said in features supported
"Supports a single bi-directional Link interface (that is, a single Ingress and a single Egress ports). Can
directly connect to one device only with the possibility of 1 or 2 bi-directional lanes."
and in features not supported "• Using ×2 link as two ×1 links"
We are assuming that single x1 would be supported
TUSB7340 is x1 device and DM8168 is x2 Device.Wanted to get the clarity that these two devices can be used to get 4 USB3.0 support.
If any particular register need to be set ,please also give the details.
